BEGINNERS FISHERY

No need to book in advance, just turn up, grab a rod, and away you go! It’s easy, fun and a great activity to do as a family. There may be a little wait during especially busy times.

Please be aware this a CARD ONLY payment area.

The fishery is very much aimed for beginners and for fun.
 
We supply all the equipment (rod, net and priest) at a cost of £3.00 per set, and staff are always on hand to help. You will be given a full demonstration when you arrive.  
 
All fish must be killed and paid for by weight, nothing can be returned to the water. Trout caught are charged at £11.50 per kilo. 
 
Landing nets must be used to avoid undue suffering of the fish and we ask that adults always undertake the killing of the fish. Children are not allowed to do this.  
 
We offer a gutting service (£1 per fish) provided we have the staff available.  
 
BBQs (either disposable, or brick bbqs in designated private pitches) available if you’d like to cook your fish afterwards. Disposable bbqs are available 10am until 4pm, and brick bbqs from 10am until 4pm.
